“Emergency landing at Dutch dropzone with the supervan. Landing in meadow. Nobody got injured, only bruises. Video published for learning purposes Please guys wear your seatbelts!”

Hats off to the person filming in this clip who took control of the situation, ensuring everyone deplaned and made it a safe distance away from the aircraft before the attention was directed to the pilot who successfully grounded the aircraft with no significant injuries to the passengers. Well done.

Here’s the incident report from aviation-safety.net:

“A Cessna 208B Supervan 900 skydiving sustained substantial damage during a forced landing in a field 2 km west of Teuge Airport, the Netherlands, next to the A50 motorway. The engine had lost power shortly after takeoff from Teuge Airport. The pilot made an emergency landing in a meadow. The aircraft collided with a billboard with the right wing, swung and came to a stop against a crash barrier next to the highway.”
