The Resort at Squaw Creek lovingly known by locals as The Death Star has announced it too will be rebranding after Squaw Valley officially changed its name to Palisades Tahoe. KCRA reports the luxury hotel in the Olympic Valley said in a statement Wednesday that a name change is a top priority. The resort says any new name will honor the resort’s commitment to inclusion and diversity. The new name is expected by April 2022. Thoughts on what it should be called? I vote Death Star.
