Loic Bruni had a rough qualification run the other day during the World Championship Downhill MTB competition at Val di Sole.
Pretty cool to hear him commentate over the footage of the crash to get a better understanding of what happened. You can clearly see him get kicked pretty high up unexpectedly, and then watch him hold on for dear life.
The crash could have easily been worse, and yet it’s still amazing that he walked away mostly unscathed. Downhill mountain biking is a brutal sport, and these athletes are remarkable.
