“Some of the world’s greatest up-and-coming surfers train and live together as they battle it out.”
Surf legend Kelly Slater opened the doors to his manmade wavepool compound in Lemoore, California to host 14 up and coming surfers to battle it out to claim $100,000, a wildcard spot on the championship tour and the title of The Ultimate Surfer. Here’s how ABC describes the show:
“ABC makes waves with The Ultimate Surfer, a new competition series from 11-time World surf league champion Kelly Slater. Former NFL quarterback Jesse Palmer is set to host the surf competition series with sports anchor Erin Coscarelli and the iconic voice of professional surfing Joe Turpel to serve as commentators.
