The Avalanche Run and Chairlift

Beaver Valley in Beaver Valley, Ontario has started a strategic video plan series that details their future plans for the mountain. The first video details their plans to replace their aging Avalanche double chair next summer. No word has been given yet as to what kind of chairlift it will be, or what capacity each chair will hold. Some options being discussed include moving the base and bottom terminal and moving the chairlifts route to have more terrain available to ski.

Beaver Valley is a private ski club in Ontario that has twenty runs, terrain parks, six chairlifts, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and two base lodges. The expert run Avalanche, which is where the new lift will go, is the steepest groomed run in Ontario. A neat video from 2018 that details their fifty-year anniversary is below.
