I just stumbled across this short film from Charlie Baetjer that shows him and friends ripping a classic bluebird powder day at Alta from a few years back. Not sure why, but this video just hit all of my buttons to get me really juiced up for the coming ski season.
I’m recently on a kick of preferring action sports videos that don’t have background music, which I acknowledge is an odd thing to say, but I genuinely enjoyed how he blended some beautiful powder skiing shots with the nostalgic voice of Neil Young.
This video made me feel the vibe of skiing a perfect powder day with friends even though I’m sitting at my desk alone. Takes me back to an 18″ surprise bluebird powder day I had at Alta back in April of 2013. It’s a day I’ll never forget!
