Ski Butternut in Great Barrington, Massachusetts is a small mountain that is undergoing some major changes this offseason. This summer, the big replacement is the removal of the Paddy Wagon Double Chair, which serviced the beginner slope. In its place will be a new fixed-grip quad chairlift. Other new changes include an RFID ticketing system, online store, snowmaking pipes, food options, and back-office systems(internet, phone, and security improvements).
