We love everything to do with mountains and that includes those pulse raising switchback roads with hairpin after hairpin over dizzying precipices. Transfăgărășan Highway, in Romania wasn’t even on my radar before this video but what cool introduction. The 150 km mountain road crosses the Carpathians. Its is Romania’s best known road and thanks to a feature on BBC Top Gear in 2009, is now one of the country’s most popular tourist attractions.
