We don’t have many options for lift-serviced summer skiing here in North America.
Beartooth Basin, Timberline, and Big Snow American Dream (indoor) are the only consistent options for summer turns now that Whistler removed the iconic Horstman Glacier T-Bar last summer.
Those Europeans across the pond, on the other hand, have a plethora of high-alpine glaciers that pros and amateurs alike can rip all year long.
Oscan Mandin got some tasty parks laps on the glacier at Les Duex Alpes that is worth the share. The Les Duex Alpes glacier is the largest skiable glacier in Europe, and the resort is the second oldest ski resort in France behind Chamonix.
Video Caption Translated from French to English: Great day of training on the 2 Alps glacier last weekend!”
Love when Europeans throw on some hard-hitting American rap and hip-hop over their ski and snowboard edits.
There’s something just… magnifique about it!
