The Les Gets downhill was one of the most anticipated events of the UCI MTB World Cup season due to the new track for this year’s competition.

The course was a little sloppy due to some wet weather, but that didn’t stop Tahnee Seagrave (Great Britain) and Thibaut Daprela (France) from lacing blazing fast runs down the course.

How does one have the ability to harness so much speed? I’d look like a toddler on bicycle without training wheels next to these pros.

Speaking of, I agree with the take of Barstool Sports personality Big Cat that we should have regular Joes compete next to world-class athletes in their respective sports.

Imagine how much more impressive these runs would look if you had some random mountain biker from Boulder try to his or her hand on the world cup stage. 😆

Same thing goes for skiing, snowboarding, curling, etc.

Would really put things into perspective.
