Ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to announce the winner for the ‘World’s Idiot of The Year Award’ for the first half of 2021.
It’s the lady who held a sign that caused basically the entire peloton to crash on the first day of the Tour de France.
What a mess.
The Tour de France has publicly stated that they plan to sue the spectator responsible, but they’re having a hard time locating her after she boarded a flight and has since been lost to authorities.
The woman is believed to be German, and her sign was a hello message to her grandparents.
I like to think that the woman packed up all of her things and is moving to a remote island in the South Pacific to live out her days avoiding the begrudging Tour de France officials that are constantly searching for her so they can sue her ass.
Maybe they’ll make a movie about it someday…
