Just stumbled across this video from 2010 of multiple people stranded on Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Sublette Quad Chair with winds raging at 110 mph, and I think it might be every skier/rider’s worst nightmare.

Based on information from some old blog posts, I’ve gathered that a microburst of snow and wind slammed into JHMR and stranded these skiers for minutes in truly horrifying conditions.

No injuries or incidents were reported as far as I can tell. Thank god!
