16cm of snow fell on Thredbo for the opening weekend of operation and with that the Australian ski season is officially underway. With a 60-70cm snow base at the top, Thredbo is opening more early season terrain than usual and kicked off the opening weekend celebrations with top to bottom shredding and a pretty sweet fireworks display. Hell yeah!
