Mikaela Shiffrin, the soon to be GOAT of ski racers, posted a video of an absolute carving clinic to her Instagram yesterday.
Watch as she effortlessly bounces from edge to edge at what appears to be an empty ski resort somewhere in Europe.
Any guesses on which resort she’s at?
Now I know what you’re probably thinking…
‘Matt, of course she can carve like that, she’s a professional ski racer.’
While you’re not wrong, it’s still intriguing to watch a pro rip up an open slope without any gates in her way.
It puts her skill level in a more approachable perspective when you’re able to compare how you would ski on a similar trail.
My guess is that we would all look like some pizza-ing-jeans-wearing-jerrys compared to Mikaela.
