“The avalanche occurred on a north aspect at 5200ft and broke 1-3ft deep, 200ft wide, and ran 300ft downslope. The snowboarder remained on the surface of the debris and was uninjured.”

Scary moment caught on camera in Washington State where a snowboarder triggered a massive slide on Shuksan Arm on Mt. Shuksan just east of the Mount Baker Ski Area on Monday.  This snowboarder was incredibly fortunate to have stayed on top of the debris and walk away uninjured. Be safe out there folks.
