Bit of no fall skiing out of the San Juan Mountains. Austin Schneider and his buddy Lorne Glick nabbed this super exposed Telluride backcountry line in mid-March winter 2019 and labeled the video “The Scariest Line In Colorado.” Tell you what, it’s hard to quantify the most scary but watching these dudes pick their way down this super exposed area of S9 peak in the Sneffels Range of Southwestern Colorado had my stomach in knots. Thoughts?“This line has probably seen about 3 other descents all time as it usually looks like a rock climb. Extreme exposure the whole time. Probable first snowboard descent.”
