Schweitzer Mountain Resort decided to cancel twilight skiing over the MLK holiday weekend. The resort’s President/CEO made the decision after guests were not respecting COVID-19 guidelines.

“The resort has decided to resume twilight skiing (3PM-7PM) on January 22nd and January 23rd. Here’s the official statement from Schweitzer:

We are going to give night skiing another try this coming weekend by welcoming season passholders and anyone who has already pre-purchased a ticket through one of our “Own the Night” partners. There will be no on-site ticket sales available.

Going forward, we plan to limit the quantity of tickets available for twilight skiing and guests will need to pre-purchase those in advance online. Any pre-purchased tickets from the “Own the Night” partners will be accepted any evening twilight skiing is offered except Sunday Feb 14, 2021. In order to continue our support of our “Own the Night” partners, any tickets purchased online for future dates will continue to help their fundraising efforts. More details will be available when those tickets go on sale the week of January 25, 2021.

We want to want to remind everyone to please respect our policies and wear a mask in all indoor spaces as well as when in the lift line so we can continue with night skiing for the remainder of the season. Thank you!”
