Warren Miller Entertainment recently announced the title of their 71st ski film titled, Future RetroThey sent me an early cut of the film’s heli-skiing segment in Iceland. It rocks.

How do the folks at Warren Miller Entertainment (WME) keep doing it year after year? They always capture audiences with beautiful ski stories, excellent cinematography, and wonder.

Baker Boyd and Victor Major, Aspen locals, absolutely shred everything that comes their way in Iceland. They even have the bright idea of racing the Heli on their descent- a noble effort I might add.

The segment wraps up with some brutal winter surfing, because why not? Where else can you heli-ski and surf on the same day? I can’t wait for all of you to see what WME was able to capture.

The roll-out of this year’s film is obviously different, but the stoke riding on this film hasn’t changed one bit.

Where are you planning on watching the virtual screening of Warren Miller Entertainment’s Future Retro?

Here’s a look at the heli-skiing operation employed by WME to capture some of the best powder skiing I’ve seen come out of Iceland.
