Anyone who has seen this elk who has had a car tire around its neck for at least a month is urged to call Colorado Parks and Wildlife so they can track him down and help him out. He was last seen on the wildlife cam near Conifer. Really hoping someone in our audience catches a sighting and can get in touch with CPW fast enough so they have a shot a picking up his trail. Fingers crossed for this poor guy:

As you can see from the below video taken in June, the elk’s antlers have grown quite a bit. When he was first sighted, some speculated he might just shake off the tire but that seems unlikely with the full on rack he’s developed in the past 40 odd days:
