A massive group of 7 to 17 year old kids have fallen ill with gastroenteritis (infectious diarrhea) after staying at the Guitart Hotel, located near the Pista Llarga area of the La Molina ski resort. A total of 65 children and 8 adult were infected.
Euro Weekly News reports on Wednesday several children were puking, suffering from the squirts, tummy aches and high fevers. A medical team was dispatched to the hotel to provide on-site care. A few hours later two of the infected kids were admitted to Cerdanya Hospital’s Emergency Centre due to the severity of their symptoms.
