“One large and windy storm system will cross the West through Friday moved by a powerful jet stream. The heaviest snow will fall in the Sierra and Cascades, 1-3 feet. I’m forecasting moderate to heavy snow in Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico and Colorado between Thursday and Friday. Saturday and Sunday look much calmer except for the Pacific Northwest as the next storm system arrives.”
