If you ski Squaw you’re going to love this video of Scott Gaffney ripping it up at age 50. Gaffney issued a hilarious list of disclaimers on his Instagram account, including a warning there are “about a dozen too many shifties.” :
“Disclaimers: * This is merely a season edit. It is neither artfully crafted nor all that impressive. * There are clearly too many backflips and about a dozen too many shifties. It’s all I’ve got. Deal with it. * Plenty of spins could have made the cut, too, but they were all embarrassingly small. * I forgot to turn on the GoPro stabilizer a few times. My bad, not GoPro’s. Shake your head around and you won’t notice. * At 7:12, the edit is about 7 minutes longer than it should be. * I cheated: three or four shots were from way back when I was 49. * Don’t expect much; I’m 50.”
Awesome to see Scott killing it after a half century. Well done. Bravo.
