Arapahoe Basin Chief Operating Officer, Allen Henceroth, had a pretty amusing response on his personal blog to the internet firestorm that followed A-Basin’s last-minute opening day announcement to overtake Keystone’s Saturday opening day announcement (A-Basin announced at 1:45pm Friday that Black Mountain Express would spin @ 3:30pm). Still hard to believe they snuck that in there.

HERE’S AL’S BLOGPOST:

“There was a lot of very hysterical stuff on the internet yesterday. Someone called me Alan Petty Henceroth. I assumed that was because Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were my favorite band of all time. This meme, pulled off Keystone’s Facebook page, by far gave me the biggest laugh of the day.”
