Across North America, when the white stuff starts to dump you hear people say it. “No friends on a powder day!” And why would anyone be? Long lift lines to fight through, hordes of people rushing to track out the freshies by 10am…it only makes sense to fend for yourself.

But here at RED, with unreal amounts of terrain and a fraction of the people, powder that sticks around for days, and Canadian hospitality that’s as thick as the maple syrup, you are a stranger here but once. It’s the kind of place where eccentric characters live storied lives. Like “Captain” Jack Carey, whose fun-loving, big-mountain stoke, and friendly, independent nature well-known throughout North America still inspires this town and mountain today.

So in the spirit of “Captain Jack” and so many that have come before him and continue to come after him, it’s only appropriate that here is where we say “ALL friends on a powder day.” Welcome to RED.
