hometogo has compiled a list of the most affordable ski resorts in North America. The website took into account the cost of ski rentals, lift ticket prices, lunch and accommodation to work out the best deals around.

Here is how they made their calculations:

Traversing mountains of data and research, this year’s ranking examines the cost of ski equipment, lift tickets, food, and accommodation at 50 of North America’s top ski destinations. The resorts provided their latest pricing data for ski equipment and lift tickets, and online menus were used to determine the cost of lunch in each. We used our own metasearch data to find the average price per person to stay in a 4-person vacation rental for one night between November 17, 2018 and April 20, 2019.

Sugar Bowl Resort in California has the cheapest rental prices for ski equipment this season.

Mount Hood Skibowl in Oregon has the cheapest single-day lift tickets in North America, at just $53.

Silver Star Mountain in British Columbia has the lowest lunch prices of all the resorts in this year’s ranking.

Mission Ridge Ski Area in Washington has the cheapest accommodation prices, at $43.98 per person per night.
