Host City Chosen For The 2026 Olympics

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has made their selection for the 2026 Winter Olympics. After months of preparation by the two remaining hosts, the finally vote has been taken. The IOC has announced that Milan/Cortina, Italy will host the 2026 Winter Olympics.

NORTHERN ITALY vs. SWEDEN/LATVIA

The two hosts battling it out in the end were, Milan/Cortina, Italy and Stockholm/Are, Sweden. All other potential host cities had dropped out due to a lack of public support.

Italy has hosted two Winter Games — 1956 in Cortina and 2006 in Turin — plus the 1960 Summer Games in Rome.
