World War II veteran, Ernie Andrus, set out this weekend from Saint Simons Island, Georgia with the goal of running all the way to San Diego, California. Andrus has penciled in the next five years of his life to complete the roughly 2,600 mile journey. From 2013 to 2016, Andrus ran the opposite direction across the country, from California to San Diego.
