Sunday River is enjoying an historic early season. First was their very early start to the ski season, opening on 19th October. Now the Maine ski resort has announced that they have received the most snowfall before the Thanksgiving holiday in well over ten years.

Three storms that impacted the area last week has brought the season snowfall total to nearly three feet. With all the snowfall Sunday River has been able to open of South Ridge and terrain accessed by the Chondola lift. Also open is terrain included Spruce Peak. The resort plans to rollout additional terrain as weather and snowmaking allow.

With more snow on the way, SNOWvember looks to keep rolling right on into December.
