Getting deep in Snowvember | Photo (+Cover): Casey Day

24 Hour: 0″ | 72 Hour: 12″ | Base Depth: 37″

After last year’s lackluster snow season, Loveland Ski Area is kicking off the 18/19 season with tons of pow and open terrain.

The ski area that straddles the Continental Divide has already seen 112″ of snow, which is more than they saw by December 26th last year reports Chris Tomer.

Terrain Status:

  • Lifts Open: 6
  • Trails Open: 30/94
  • Skiable Terrain: 385/1800 acres

The Ptarmigan lift just opened and skiers and riders can expect other big openings this week as the snow continues to settle on the upper elevations. Just keep in mind, the mid-mountain depth is still only 37″ and early season conditions do exist.
