The first big ski weekend in Colorado means thousands of drivers will using the highways and I-70 congestion is all but inevitable. Denver 7 wanted to share a few tip for dealing with backups like skiing during the weekdays (duh?) or avoid I-70 all together by taking alternate routes (double duh). 
If these options aren’t available they suggest using sites like Cotrip.org or Goi70.com for real time traffic updates and the tried and true early bird method. Drivers should also be ready for inclement weather and remember to drive for the conditions and to remain patient. SERENITY NOW!!!
