With the start of ski season underway in North America and the first couple of storms blanketing the high peaks already. We’re stoked to highlight the stellar early season Wolf Creek is currently experiencing.

Wolf Creek is off to a terrific start, recording their earliest opening date ever after seeing a stream of early season snow storms. Although the resort is only open for weekends, the Southern Colorado ski area has opened vastly more terrain than any other operating ski resorts in the country.

Starting this Friday, November 9th, Wolf Creek switches to a 7 day schedule, and the timing couldn’t be much better.

Conditions Report:

  • Surface Conditions:Powder/Packed Powder
  • Percentage Open:90%
  • Skiable Acres:1440

If you can’t resist the urge to chase snow in the early season, Wolf Creek is sitting pretty with fun terrain, good snow quality and inexpensive lift tickets. Major resort openings this week include Mammoth 11/8, along with Colorado’s Keystone and Breckenridge on 11/09. Keep doing your snow seasons, this is just the start of (hopefully) an awesome ski season.
