Now that winter is in the air, we’re proud to preview the second issue of volume four of Forecast. The cover features @DaneTudor sending it to the moon and back at @MicaHeli, B.C., while shooting for @SherpasCinema’s upcoming film, Children of the Columbia: A Skier’s Odyssey, as shot by @BlakeJorgenson. Inside you’ll find our 2019 Outerwear Guide, a behind the scenes look at the Beyond The Powder Highway video series with @ABMskier, @Anna_Segal, @Mike_Riddle and @StanRey7, a feature that follows @CarterMak, @Mr_McCraw and @ReubenKrabbe as they overcome atomic anxiety in the Land of the Rising Sun, exposés on @TrollResort and @IslandLakeLodge, profiles on @Elena.Gaskell and @Ian_Morrison, a chance to win a jacket from @Orage89 by showing your finest ski photography to @Mason_Mashon, and much, much more. Visit forecastski.com for a full preview of the issue, and look for it to debut at this weekend’s @TorontoSkiShow and arrive in ski shops and on newsstands across Canada beginning next week. #beyondthepowderhwy #skiing #freeski #forecastski
Whelp. Big gulps huh? This has to be one of the top ski magazine covers of all time as Dane Tudor drops into the most mind melting spine line/backdrop we’ve ever seen. The photo was captured by Blake Jorgenson at Mica Heli Skiing, which lies some 2 hours north of Tudor’s home of Revelstoke.
Besides the photo, Forecast is a Canadian ski mag that’s doing great things and putting out some quality material for the ski world to enjoy. Please subscribe and keep this burgeoning publication on the up-and-up.
