Bluegrass, skiing, beer– whats not to love? WinterWonderGrass is a bluegrass music festival presented by the Ikon Pass. The event will be taking place at Stratton, Vermont from December 14-16, Steamboat Springs, Colorado on February 22-24, and Squaw Valley for March 29-31.  The artist lineup differs for each location specific festival.

In Tahoe, headliners include Greensky Bluegrass, Trampled By Turtles, Leftover Salmon and the Sam Bush Band. Yup, it should be a humdinger of a good time.

“In addition to the aforementioned, the WinterWonderGrass Tahoe music lineup includes ALO, Fruition, Billy Strings, the Travelin’ McCourys, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, Dead Winter Carpenters, Jeff Austin Band, Lindsay Lou, Upstate, Driftwood, Pickin’ on the Dead and Pixie and the Partygrass Boys. Additional artists include: Vince and Silas Herman, One Grass, Two Grass, Bridget Law and Friends, Jenni and Jesse Dunn with Local Company and the Jack Cloonan Band. Artists at large include Andy Thorn & Tyler Grant.” – The Tahoe Weekly

To sweeten the pot, there will be plenty of libations to consume from a variety of brewers (*not to mention your ticket gets you discounts).

Tickets start at $179 for general admission. The general admission pass does not provide lift tickets, but you can add on Ski and Ride tickets.  WinterWonderGrass also offers packages that allow you to attend multiple events. For example, the VIP Coast to Coast 9-day pass allows you to attend the Stratton, Steamboat, and Squaw events for $879.
