With Wolf Creek opening tomorrow the Colorado ski scene is buzzing with anticipation of other opening day announcements. Here is a list compiled byThe Denver Business Journal, but full disclosure these dates are completely snow-dependent  and subject to change.  DBJ reports these are the opening dates to Colorado’s 25 largest ski resorts according to their official websites unless otherwise noted:

  1. Arapahoe Basin Ski Area: Mid-October
  2. Aspen Highlands: Nov. 22
  3. Aspen Mountain: Dec. 8 (according to Colorado Ski Country USA)
  4. Beaver Creek Resort: Nov. 21
  5. Breckenridge Ski Resort: Nov. 9
  6. Buttermilk: Dec. 8 (according to Colorado Ski Country USA)
  7. Cooper: Dec. 8
  8. Copper Mountain Resort: Nov. 16
  9. Crested Butte Mountain Resort: Nov. 22
  10. Echo Mountain: Nov. 23
  11. Eldora Mountain Resort: Nov. 22 (according to Colorado Ski Country USA)
  12. Granby Ranch: Dec. 14 (according to Colorado Ski Country USA)
  13. Keystone Resort: Nov. 9
  14. Loveland Ski Area: Targeting mid-October
  15. Monarch Mountain: Nov. 21 (according to Colorado Ski Country USA)
  16. Powderhorn Resort: Dec. 13
  17. Purgatory Resort: Nov. 17 (according to Colorado Ski Country USA)
  18. Silverton Mountain: Nov. 24
  19. Snowmass: Nov. 22
  20. Steamboat Resort: Nov. 21
  21. Sunlight Mountain Resort: Dec. 8 (according to Colorado Ski Country USA)
  22. Telluride Ski Resort: Nov. 22 (according to Colorado Ski Country USA), but the previous two opening days were delayed until Dec. 7, 2017 and Nov. 28, 2016.
  23. Vail Mountain: Nov. 16
  24. Winter Park Resort: Nov. 14
  25. Wolf Creek Ski Area: Oct. 13 (starting with weekends only)
