They did it. Telluride’s Hilaree Nelson (*formerly O’Neill) and Tahoe’s Jim Morrison completed the first descent of the iconic ‘Lhotse Couloir’ off Mount Everest’s sister peak.

The first photos of the chute are absolutely amazing. Dream line doesn’t even begin to describe what these two were able to pull off on the world’s 4th tallest mountain. The conditions appear to be amazing, not the typical slide for life ice normally encountered above 25k.
