Arapahoe Basin is well known for having some of the most aww-inspiring avy dogs on the Summit County circuit (see video below). Tikka, the newest addition to the team, was introduced to social media yesterday and boy is this Golden Retriever pup no exception. Holy h*ck, just look at her:
Meet Tikka, Arapahoe Basin's newest avalanche dog in training! She's a Golden Retriever who's ready to take on the world. 🐾 You'll see her on the mountain this winter with her ski patrol handler, Erich. But it’s journalist’s job to speak truth to power, even when that power is adorableness. That’s exactly what a Denver Post editor did when he took to Twitter to dare to question if Tikka’s really the lady to turn to when things go south.
Like the cut of that pupper’s jib. Just don’t want it to be the only thing standing between me and avalanche death. https://t.co/rkQx603WQU

I mean, he makes a good point, right? Those little legs, that short attention span, mediocre tug-of-war abilities…
Not to worry, Tikka. Your size may inspire the doubters today, but Unofficial is rooting for you to prove the haters wrong. Who’s a good girl?
