Spencer Schubert hits a chairlift cable like a rail.

Snowboarder Spencer Schubert joined what is certainly a very limited club when he hit the cable of a chairless chairlift like a rail in what appears to be an area around Myoko, Japan.

Has this trick been done before? Yes, but not by many and not on many occasions. Finding a chairlift with no chairs where you can actually reach the cable is rare enough. Having the guts and the capability to actually hit it like a rail is a whole other beast.

Congrats to Schubert on this epic trick. It’ll certainly go down as one of the coolest clips of the season in my book.
