Intriguing trailer to a 12 minute film about the interplay of man made and natural features in the world of skiing starring FWT veteran Lorraine Huber. Will make sure to follow up and post the entire film when it’s released:

“The commercial film director Hanno Mackowitz, a native of Vorarlberg and living in Innsbruck, has produced a freeride art-house film, in which he sets new accents in form and content.

For the past two years he has been filming with the 2017 Freeride World Champion skier Lorraine Huber, who’s recognized as one of the strongest and most experienced female big mountain skiers in the world today. She is a long-term competitor in the Freeride World Tour and has podiumed over twenty-five times at international freeride competitions.

The result is the art-house film “Structures”. In his film, Mackowitz focuses on the increasing human impact on nature and the man-made structures in the natural space using the example of Arlberg, Austria’s largest interconnected ski area and one of the most significant in the world.

Lorraine carves her turns in perfection, meticulously captured and represented in an aesthetic picture language.”
