She’s called Shannon and she’s The Royal National Lifeboat Institution newest water rescue craft. Shannon uses water jet propulsion rather than traditional props which makes her nimble as a thimble able to stop on a dime. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is the charity that saves lives at sea. Our volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the UK and Irish coasts.
