KRON4 reports that under the Code of Federal Regulations, vandalism of national parks is a federal misdemeanor, punishable by 3 to 6 months in prison and as much as a $500 fine. Officials at the Colorado National Monument urge witnesses or those with more information to call 970-858-3617 ext. 360.
