When it comes to interdisciplinary board sport dominance, Shaun White reigns king with world class snowboarding/skateboarding skills and he’s a pretty ripping recreational surfer in his off time (VIDEO HERE).
For these champion big wave surfers, switching up sports and trying out snowboarding in the Chugach range offered a unique opportunity to step out of there comfort zones, be humbled by the mountains, have fun and share some high elevation qt with fellow Hiball Energy Drink athletes:
“We brought Big Wave Surf champions Paige Alms and Billy Kemper to the remote parts of the Chugach range in Alaska to challenge their snowboarding skills with premier snow athletes Robin Van Gyn, Leanne Pelosi and Olympic Gold Medalist Julia Mancuso. Combined with a stormy surf trip off the Seward coast, this team’s good energy and unbounded spirit created a camaraderie during amazing times and others that weren’t as comfortable.”
