Ski fields in New Zealand are gearing up for their 2018 ski season. That effort has been greatly helped by an early season snowfall that dropped a heap of snow on the Southern Alps.
Resorts are set to open for the season in mid June, but Cardrona is opening for skiing & snowboarding this coming weekend in a pre-season teaser before official Opening Day.

Last week we had over 90cm of natural snow, & the legendary snowmaking team made heeeeeaps of snow on top of that.
