“There Are Only So Many Jobs That Let You Commandeer a Jet Ski to Save Lives.”
Seattle Police went full Baywatch when they commandeered a jet ski to rescue a pair of distressed kayakers on Lake Washington about a month back. Fox8 reports the officers knew they needed to respond quickly because one of the boaters was without PFD and the other was reportedly out of their kayak.
That’s when they flagged down a passing jet ski and did their best Mitch Buchannon. The officers were able to assist the kayakers until a harbor unit boat brought them in. Well done boys in blue!
