Upon first glance, it’s obvious that Nate Bozung is definitely no TJ Burke. His face tattoos immediately make him controversial and to be honest– a little intimidating.

Unfortunately for Bozung, that perception is only going to get worse after the pro snowboarder was arrested in Park City on Saturday morning after allegedly threatening two people, one with a knife and one with a rifle reports The Salt Lake Tribune.

Police statements indicate that a crew of people had been out partying at a nearby bar before returning to Bozung’s home in the early morning hours on Saturday. At some point after the group returned, Bozung got worked up and grabbed a kitchen knife and held it to one bystander’s throat.

After that grisly interaction, most people left the house immediately but Bozung wasn’t done. He then headed to his car to grab ammo for his AR-15 style firearm.

A neighbor watched as Bozung grabbed ammo for the rifle, after which he allegedly threatened the neighbor saying, “I’m going to kill you.” Police were called to secure the area and Bozung later surrendered. He later told police he had blacked out

Although charges have yet to be filed, the 36 year-old rider was taken into custody for marijuana possession, aggravated assault, and unlawful possession of a firearm. He was released on bail from the Summit County jail on Monday.
