When it comes to professional ski racing, only the top athletes generate enough wins to come out on top of the prize money pile without having to spend all that cash on flights, training, and hotels.

During this year’s world cup season, Mikaela Shiffrin secured a total of $738,00 worth of prize money– making her the top paid athlete in competition for the 2018 season reports The News Tribune. She was followed closely by Marcel Hirscher, who won a total of $703,000.

Lindsey Vonn won an estimated $277,000 solely in competition.

In addition to those winnings, Mikaela is likely walking away from the season a multi-millionaire with paydays from endorsement deals with Bose, Barilla, and Atomic to name just a few.
