Move over Herman Meier, Bode Miller has a new favorite ski racer. While sitting down for an interview with Reuters, Bode Miller told a reporter that Mikaela Shiffrin is “the best I’ve ever seen.

He went on to say that gender played no role in his judgment. “She’s so balanced, dynamic, intense and focused,” said the olympic gold medalist and 5-time world cup champ.

Miller thinks that Shiffrin, at her best, has a chance to win 4– maybe 5 gold medals if she gets lucky. Miller has spent his first year away from ski racing as an on-air announcer for NBC Sports, which will head up Olympic coverage starting in early February.
