The International Association of Ski Journalists has voted and Mikaela Shiffrin is your 2017 skier of the year.

The decision was easy for most journalists, who were won over by Mikaela’s stunning 2016/2017 FIS world cup season. During that season, she nabbed the overall title from Swiss skier, Lara Gut in addition to winning the slalom title. Past American winners include Lindsey Vonn [2009] and Bode Miller [2005].
