I’ve always lived my life by pushing the limits. Winning is great, but it’s the tough times that truly define you. I took a slam while training the other day, but don’t worry I’ll be back soon and better than ever!! Thanks @beatsbydre for bringing me into the family. #NormalisBoring #1of1 #RockNRoll
The Flying Tomato just lost some marinara during a recent training run and from the look and location of the injury we gotta guess– concussion?
For Shaun White, who is hoping to make a big splash at the upcoming Pyeongchang Olympics in South Korea, the bump on the noggin is just the latest in a series on injuries he’s sustained in the past 6 months.
“The biggest scare was seeing blood in my urine but after the tests all came back looking good I was released to go home.” – Shaun White after his crash in September.
He was already hospitalized earlier this season after he under rotated a double whilst training in New Zealand. While both injuries are far from career ending, just goes to show how old bodies hold up in a young man’s sport.
*Still we wish the best for Shaun in the next 4 months… even if he’s hanging out with internationally recognized douche, Dan Bilzerian.
Not exactly the birthday I was hoping for …..I under rotated a double flip that sent me to the hospital. The biggest scare was seeing blood in my urine but after the tests all came back looking good I was released to go home. Life's going to knock you down…. get up, learn from your mistakes, and you'll be better for it! see you back on the mountain soon🏂
