An elk was put down by a parks and wildlife officer in Estes Park, Colorado after a dust up with two women that sent them to the hospital. The elk charged and gored the humans and was unfortunately shot and killed. The elk was tagged and had a history of aggressive behavior and the parks and wildlife official justified killing because safety is top priority. No word as of yet as to what provoked the attack.
