A 21 year old climber has died after falling from the 14,137′ Capitol Peak on Saturday reports The Aspen Times.

The climber in question had already summited the mountain with his partner and were headed down the when the incident occurred. According to his climbing partner, the pair got into an argument as to which route would be the best to take. The partner decided to take the traditional exit while his partner decided to take a more exposed track out.

The body of the unidentified climber was spotted via helicopter by Mountain Rescue Aspen and once they reached him, it was obvious the climber had already passed. The injuries indicated he likely fell from a cliff that measured somewhere between 600-700′.

Just last week, a couple perished on the peak and altogether 5 have died this year on the 14k+ foot peak.

*Our deepest condolences go out to the victim’s friends and family.
